One of the most popular projects in Art 1! Students help each other by laying layers of wet plaster strips over faces smeared in Vaseline to create masks. Once the plaster dries, it’s time to get creative and modify the masks with all kinds of materials including but not limited to: cardboard, tape, tissue, and paint.
